CORRECTION: In this segment’s “DC Comics Spotlight” while discussing “Justice League: Cry For Justice #1″, I erroneously identified illustrator Mauro Cascioli as Italian, when in fact he is Argentinian. Apologize for the confusion.
PTG Episode 33 is brought to you by Star Crunch. These stellar little snacks are the star of this episode’s ‘Eat More Geek’ segment, and as you can see in the image above, even Kilowog of the Green Lantern Corps. wants you to have one. Now really, are you going to say no to HIM, poozer? I didn’t think so.
In addition to the Star Crunch-inspired segment, this episode highlights a few DC Comics titles and my reasons for not particularly enjoying the blowing up of stuff, unlike the hosts of SomaCow, who VERY much enjoyed blowing up stuff, specifically meat products, on July 4th. You just gotta love those guys. Our arrival at the studio that Saturday afternoon went something like this:
“Hey everybody! Happy Fourth of July!”
“Hey there! Want to blow up some bacon with us?”
“Ummm, what?”
“Yeah, we’re setting off bacon-wrapped fireworks!”
Ah, never a dull moment at the SomaCow Media Network … The YouTube video of the fleshy fireworks, hopefully, will be available shortly. If it isn’t, head over to the SomaCow Message Boards and bug them incessantly until they comply. Tell them over and over again, “I want my Meat TV!”
They’ll love you for it, I promise.
