The Harbourline H2 is a better dock and a worse purchase

Everything the H1 did badly, the H2 does well. It is quieter, it negotiates power faster, and it stopped the intermittent display wake failure that made the previous generation irritating.

The durability score is not about build quality, which is good. It is about the soldered power stage. In nine weeks nothing failed. In year four, if it does, the remedy is a new dock.
